Beauty

So I saw American Beauty for the first time yesterday, it was a very good movie; sort of a Ferris Bueler type of movie, in that if you don't stop and look around a bit, you might miss a whole lot worrying about nothing. I enjoyed Kevin Spacey's character, he sort of reminded me of the main character from Office Space right after he was hypnotized. I really didn't like his daughter's character tough, she was real bitchy and just hated everything. Its almost like the fact that she has a pretty good life doesn't even dawn on her. That she must create some sort of drama just to make her sorry existence worth while. It sort of made me think, maybe if all kids grew up in shitty financial situations, maybe they wouldn't have time to worry about all the psychological depressing shit in their life. Maybe they would actually notice that maybe their lives aren't as bad as they think it is and that maybe they'll realize that no matter how hard their situation sounds, there will always be another situation which is just as worse, if not worser.
